18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with the first episode of either haemorrhagic or ischaemic stroke; 2. Able to sit unsupported on a bed with their feet off the ground for 30 seconds and able to kneel on the ground for 30 seconds ; 3. Aged 40 to 80 years; 4. MMSE=20.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Combined with serious diseases of the liver, kidney, hematological system or endocrine system; 2. Patients had any other neurological and musculoskeletal dysfunction such as cerebellar lesion and any history of lower limb or pelvic fractures that might potentially affect their performance of balance.
