Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged=18 years; 2. cough symptom not experienced within 2 weeks prior to surgery; 3. provided signed informed consent; 4. underwent surgery performed via video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS); 5. postoperative pathological findings indicative of NSCLC.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. conversion to thoracotomy or bleeding of over 1000 ml; 2. underwent pneumonectomy; 3. rejected survey or dropped out; 4. lung cancer TNM stage of pT4, pN3 and/or M1.
