Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. First-ever stroke (infarct or hemorrhage); 2. Stroke experienced >=3 months and =12 months prior to study enrollment; 3. Aged 18 to 85 years; 4. Right handed prior to stroke; 5. Sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe aphasia, neglect and sensory disturbances; 2. Any contraindications to MRI testing or claustrophobia; 3. Active malignant disease or renal, liver, or cardiac failure.
