15 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Complete case data; 2. Diagnosis of chronic periodontitis at first visit; 3. Patients who completed the non-surgical periodontal therapy and assessed at least 3 months during maintenance.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients who had systemic disease, such as hypertension, osteoporosis, or taking medications that affect bone metabolism; 2. The abnormal anatomical teeth, including the invaginated lingual fossa and abnormal tooth root morphology; 3. tooth that has been traumatized before or during the periodontal of treatment; 4. tooth malposition and unable to perform oral hygiene maintenance; 5. tooth with poor prosthesis; 6. patients with orthodontic treatment.
