Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Esophageal cancer in the lower third of the esophagus or junctional (Siewerts type I and II ) tumor; 2) Tumor clinical stage of T1b-T4a; 3) No nodal involvement and no metastases (M0) before the receipt of any induction treatment; 4) Tumors that were considered to be resectable.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Receipt of any neoadjuvant radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or both; 2)Combined with other gastroesophageal diseases; 3)Combined with COPD and other lung diseases; 4)History of thoracic and abdominal surgery; 5)Patients refused to participate in clinical trials.
