Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Candidate patients for an open procedure for elective partial hepatectomy were chosen Patients had diseases including primary hepatocellular carcinoma and colorectal liver metastasis. Patients with no cirrhosis or cirrhosis grading below CHILDA were selected.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of hypertension or diabetes with uncontrolled hypertension or blood glucose, or with a Hemoglobin level below 9g/dL were excluded from this study.
