Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) For patients with primary hypertension aged over 18 years old (referred to 2018 China guidelines for hypertension); (2) Diagnostic criteria for left ventricular hypertrophy (UCG: LVMI, male >115 g/m2; female >95 g/m2); (3) Suspected left ventricular diastolic dysfunction (8420umol/L and 360umol/L and <600umol/L for female in recent 3 months). If urate-lowering medicine were used, serum uric acid value was re-examined 10 days after medicine withdrawal; (6) Volunteer and sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Heart failure (including systolic heart failure and diastolic heart failure); (2) Organic heart disease (coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy, rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease, pulmonary heart disease, etc.); (3) Refractory hypertension; (4) Gout arthritis and kidney stones; (5) Severe renal dysfunction, eGFR 3 ULN, total bilirubin > 2 ULN); (7) Pregnant and lactating women.
