Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Receive gastrointestinal endoscopies for examination at the endoscopy unit of Zhongshan Hospital from January 1st, 2012 to December 31st, 2017. 2. Aged more than 18 years(include 18 years)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Staff examinations; 2. Patients from ICU or Emergency department; 3. Special types of endoscopy procedure (i.e, POEM needs tracheal intubation ); 4. Patients whose important characteristics were not recorded.
