Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients with malignant solid tumors requiring more than two drugs of chemotherapy; 2. Previous history of at least grade 1 of thrombocytopenia after chemotherapy or chemotherapy with GP regimen (gemcitabine plus platinum); 3. Performance status of 0, 1 on the ECOG criteria; 4. Patients without oral contraindications; 5. Patient compliance that allow adequate follow-up: Adequate hematologic (neutrophil count >= 1,500/uL, platelets >= 100,000/uL), hepatic (transaminase =< upper normal limit(UNL)x2.5, bilirubin level =< UNLx1.5), and renal (creatinine =< UNL) function 6. Informed consent from patient or patient's relative.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with with interior heat and yin deficiency syndrome; 2. Patients who received radiotherapy in the past month; 3. Patients with concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
