Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. women aged 21 to 45 years; 2. conformity with HSG indications; 3. voluntary participation in the trial with informed consent provided.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. history of iodine allergy, hyperthyroidism, or thyroid tumors; 2. trichomonas vaginitis, candida vaginitis, vaginal secretion cleanliness over II degrees; 3. acute/subacute pelvic inflammation, chronic pelvic inflammation, active pelvic/uterine/fallopian tuberculosis; 4. uterine or cervical bleeding; 5. less than 6 months postpartum or uterine cavity exercises performed for less than 4 weeks; 6. infertility due to a lack of ovulation; 7. copulation or vaginal administration of semen within 3 days before HSG; 8. a body temperature higher than 37.5°C on the day of HSG; 9. inability to diagnose the degree of pelvic adhesion because iodized oil could not flow into the pelvic cavity through any side of the fallopian tube after intrauterine injection.
