Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients in stable stage of schizophrenia with metabolic syndrome; 2. The amount of antipsychotic drugs remained unchanged before and after admission; 3. Male aged 18-55 years; 4. The guardian or patient agrees to join the research and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe physical diseases, including coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, massive cerebral infarction, tumors and allergic history to Chinese herbal medicines, were excluded.

MeasureTime frame
Fasting blood sugar, insulin, height, body mass, waist circumference, body mass index and insulin resistance index were calculated. TCM syndrome observation table, drug side effects scale, psychiatric positive and negative symptoms scale, serum pharmacological component analysis and fecal macrogenomics are evaluated.;
