Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with the stable phase and acute exacerbation phase of COPD were recruited according to the diagnostic criteria of the Global Strategy for the Diagnosis, Management, and Prevention of COPD (2017 revision). AECOPD patients with pneumonia should be also enrolled in accordance with the diagnostic criteria of the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Adult Community Acquired Pneumonia in China (2016 revision).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Healthy subjects without a history of respiratory or systemic diseases would be recruited. If subjects could not cooperate or suffer from mental disorders would be excluded.
