Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) patients scheduled for elective radical thyroidectomy with IONM; 2) ASA I~II; 3) aged 18 and 75 years; 4) BMI<32kg/m2; 5) volunteer to participate and provided written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) patients who were pregnant or lactating; 2) patients with severe hypertension cardiopulmonary insufficiency severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease; 3) patients with neuromuscular disorders; 4)patients with existing nerve injury; 5)patients with preoperative vocal fold disfunction on laryngoscopy; 6) intake of medication that would influence neuromuscular transmission; 7) patients with a potential risk of difficult face mask ventilation; 8) patients with any contraindications to the anesthetic agents used during surgery; 9) refusal to participate in the study.
