Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) difficulty with bowel movements, constipation or abdominal distension after anus-retained operation of rectal cancer. (2) colonoscope couldnt pass through the anastomotic site. (3) the anastomotic stricture was proved benign.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) anastomotic abscess or fistula. (2) severe comorbidities, such as coagulation disorders, cardiopulmonary dysfunction.
