Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia which prostate volume was >80ml according to the formula and combined with one of the following criteria can enter the study group: 1. Repeated urinary retention (at least one time after pulling out the catheter cannot be voided or two urinary retention); 2. Repeated hematuria, drug treatment is ineffective; 3. Recurrent urinary tract infection; 4. bladder calculi; 5. Secondary hydronephrosis (with or without renal impairment); 6. Combined with inguinal hernia, severe hemorrhoids or rectocele, and it is difficult to achieve therapeutic effect without removing urinary tract obstruction; 7. Patients who accepted both surgical methods and were randomly included into one group voluntarily.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with progressive malignant tumor; 2. Diuretic muscle contractions are weak; 3. Combined with urethral stricture; 4. The combination of uncontrolled urinary tract infection causes bladder urethral dysfunction; 5. The combination of central or peripheral neuropathy causes bladder urethral dysfunction; 6. Patients with severe heart and lung disease cannot tolerate surgery and anesthesia; 7. Patients with coagulopathy; 8. Patients with mental disorders; 9. Patients who are considered unfit to participate in any other condition of the trial.
