Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) patients diagnosed with degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis; (2) patients with main complaints, including intermittent claudication, leg pain, or numbness were in accordance with computed tomography (CT) imaging and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) characteristics; (3) patients with >3 months of symptoms duration; (4) patients aged 18 to 80 years; (5) patients with complete follow-up data.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with segmental instability; (2) patients with spondylolisthesis; (3)patients with severe scoliosis on X-ray (Cobb >30 degree); (4) patients with abnormal neural structure in the lumbar spinal canal on MRI; (5) patients with a spinal surgery history at same segmental level; (6) patients with pathologies such as infection and tumor.
