Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Aged =18 years; (2)Planning to undergo elective cardiac valve surgery under general anesthesia with the use of cardiopulmonary bypass, Including: heart valve molding, correction and replacement surgery, valve surgery combined with atrial or ventricular septal defect repair.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Refuse to participate; (2) Preoperative history of schizophrenia, epilepsy, Parkinsonism myasthenia gravis or dementia; (3) Inability to communicate in the preoperative period because of Visual, hearing and language impairment; (4) Preoperative history of brain injury or neurosurgery; (5) Preoperative left ventricular ejection fraction < 30%; (6) Sick sinus syndrome, severe sinus bradycardia (< 50 beats per minute), or second-degree or above atrioventricular block without pacemaker; (7) Severe hepatic dysfunction (Child-Pugh class C); (8) Severe renal dysfunction (requirement of renal replacement therapy before surgery).
