Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Single tooth loss or 2 consecutive teeth loss; (2) No need for bone augmentation (more than 6mm in buccolingual direction and 8mm in occlusogingival direction); (3) At least 4 immobile teeth in the dentition; (4) Planned implant sites healing for at least 3 months; (5) Mouth opening larger than 5 cm.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Bad oral hygiene; (2) Bruxism; (3) Uncontrolled oral disease, such as periodontitis(PD > 5mm); (4) History of radiotherapy in the head/neck region; (5) Systemic diseases influencing healing and osseointegration; (6) Untreated diabetes; (7) Medication influencing healing and osseointegration; (8) Heavy smoking( >= 20 cigarettes daily); (9) Pregnancy; (10) Patients unwilling to participate in the study.
