Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) diagnosed as cataract; (2) below grade IV (according to Emery nuclear hardness grading standard); (3) axial length of 24–30 mm; (4) at least 6 mm in diameter of pupil of the eye and above; (5) regular corneal astigmatism reaches 0.75 D and above.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) corneal lesions; (2) nuclear hardness greater than grade 4; (3) glaucoma; (4) symblepharon; (5) small cleft palate; (6) nystagmus; (7) dislocation of the lens; (8) patients who had undergone corneal or internal eye surgery; (9) and those who could not cooperate.
