Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Knee OA fulfilling American College of Rheumatology classification criteria; 2. Radiographic severity (Kellgren-Lawrence [KL] grade, 1 to 3); 3. Knee pain (score, =4 but =6 on VAS scale) 4. Participants are capable of reading and writing in Mandarin.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Underwent TKA; 2. Diagnosed with any other type of arthritis other than osteoarthritis; 3. Deteriorated knee pain in the last one week (score, = 6 on VAS scale); 4. Uncontrolled DM2; 5. With comorbidities in the digestive system; 6. Depression, anxiety; 7. Unable to sign the consent; 8. Difficult to read and write in Mandarin.
