20 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) aged 20–60 years; (2) = 40 mm pain intensity on the 100-mm pain visual analogue scale (VAS) for lower back pain; (3) having low back pain due to LDH (MRI scan confirmed lumbar disk herniation in our hospital last 2 weeks) and ruling out other relevant on going pathologies such as fractures, lumbar spondylolisthesis, tumor, osteoporosis, or infection; (4) willing to participate in this study and signing the informed consent. (5) written consent to participate in two follow-up MRI (3 month and 6 month).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) red flag signs that may indicate cauda equina syndrome, such as bladder and bowel dysfunction or saddle anesthesia; (2) experiencing a history of spinal surgery; (3) having psychiatric disease; (4) having serious chronic diseases that could interfere with the outcomes; (5) pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study; (6) having other diseases that the researchers believe is not suitable for the study; (7) patients with MRI errors or low resolution.
