Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Outpatient and hospitalized patients with epilepsy admitted to our hospital. The diagnosis of epilepsy is defined by the International Association for the Prevention of Epilepsy (ILAE) 2014: (1) at least two non-evoked (or reflexive) episodes, with two episodes separated by more than 24 hours; (2) in the next 10 year, the likelihood of a non-evoked (or reflex) episode and a future episode is comparable to the risk of recurrence after two non-evoked episodes (at least 60%); (3) diagnosis of epilepsy syndrome.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute symptomatic epilepsy; 2. psychogenic non-epileptic seizures; 3. individuals can not cooperate with the test; 4. individuals do not agree to participate in the study.
