Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted to our institute for secondary prophylaxis of gastroesophageal variceal bleeding.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had endoscopic variceal ligation, sclerotherapy or tissue adhesives injection within 1 year were excluded.
