65 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA I or II patients scheduled to receive curative resection of esophageal carcinoma under general anesthesia; 2. Aged 65-80 years; 3. Duration of the surgery expected to last 2-6 hours; 4. BMI 18-30kg/m2; 5. Meet the inclusion/exclusion criteria for PROTECT

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe heart, lung, liver and kidney dysfunction; 2. Severe diseases of immune system and endocrine system; 3. End-stage renal diseases requiring dialysis; 4. Major infection (including but not limited to septicemia); 5. Preoperative bronchiectasis, respiratory tract infection, persistent cough and sputum, more secretions in the lungs.
