Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Female Chinese patients aged 18-50 years are enrolled in this study. They are diagnosed with moderate female pattern hair loss according to the modified Ludwig scale and demoscopy. Patients are required to sign the informed consents.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with scalp disorders (such as seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis or eczema) or other hair diseases(such as alopecia areata, telogen effluvium or anagen effluvium); pregnant or lactating women; allergic to minoxidil; previous topical minoxidil treatment within the past 12 weeks; drug or alcohol abuse; mental diseases or comprehension disorder; undergoing hormonotherapy, phototherapy or physiotherapy; wearing a wig; hair transplantation on the target areas; anemia; ferritin is below 40ug/L; autoimmune diseases; endocrine diseases (such as diabetes, thyroid or pituitary diseases); severe systemic diseases; malignant tumor; hair loss induced by chemotherapeutic drugs; recent craniocerebral operation; participants of other clinical trials within last 3 months.
