Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: First prenatal visit before 12 weeks' gestation; singleton pregnancy. All patients met the diagnostic criteria for GDW. No diabetes was found before pregnancy. FBG levels were more than 5.1 mmol/L, and or more than 8.5 mmol/L after 2 h. The patients were informed about the content of this study and volunteered to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patients suffered from hypertension, kidney, or cardiovascular disease; medications that may interfere with sugar and lipid metabolism during pregnancy (eg indomethacin, phentolamine, diuretics, phenytoin sodium, and Pine etc.); the patients had placenta previa, threatened abortion, and artificial infertility; The patients were lost in the course of the study. The patients had history of previous adverse pregnancy: unexplained stillbirth or fetus stopped developing.
