Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients undergoing upper abdominal surgery, focusing on stomach, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, etc.; (2) Operation time at least 2 hours; (3) Aged 18 to 65 years old; (4) Agree to participate and sign approval letter.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Combined with other non-abdominal surgery; (2) Emergency surgery; (3) Histoty of esophageal or abdominal surgery; (4) Preoperative gut dysfunction (like IBS, CD, UC, ileus, colorectal cancer, etc.); (5) Illiterate or communication disability or follow-up difficulty; (6) Long-term use of immunosuppressive agents or with autoimmune diseases preoperatively; (7) Other circumstances unsuitable for this study.
