Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: elderly patient(=65 yrs), right handed; undergoing unilateral knee arthroplasty; ASA I-III; preoperative MMSE score>27

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe cardio-pulmonary deisease, severe hypertension; definite neurological disease (cerebral infarction, intracranial tumour, any history of head trauma); any history of pyschiatric disease and depression; any history of alchohol and drug abuse; any history of severe diabetes, chronic nephropathy, liver disease; any history or family history Alzhiemer's disease; any contraindication of MRI scanning and patient who refuse to be recruited.
