Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients in SICU with homologous blood transfusion; 2. Patients undergoing major surgeries with the predicting volume of blood transfusion greater than 1000mL(RBC+cryoprecipitate+frozen plasma);3. Aged 18 to 70 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. hematopathy; 2. requiring chronic blood transfusion; 3. patients with cancer undergoing conservative treatment; 4. being not enrolled into the study before admitted to SICU and simultaneously having been underwent homologous blood transfusion; 5. pre-existing pulmonary infection or bloodstream infection before being admitted to SICU; 6. after <3 d stay in SICU transferred to general ward; 7. autologous blood transfusion; 8. hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; 9. solid organ transplantation; 10. single-donor platenets inevitably used, but the donor age being not consistent with that of the previous blood components.
