Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female, aged 18 years and above at the time of signing informed consent. 2. TMD group: 3. Chronic TMJ pain (pain duration ranging from 6 to 18 months); 4. A history of joint sounds; 5. With the diagnosis of DDWOR verified by MRI. 6. Healthy group: without TMD symptoms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic disorder (e.g. rheumatological diseases, heart diseases, psychological disorders); 2. History of neuromuscular diseases or musculoskeletal injuries.
