Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 20-90 years admitted to emergency intensive care unit or emergency medical ward, met the criteria for the diagnosis of constipation were involved in. They were conscious and expected to be hospitalized for more than one week. They were volunteered to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with unconsciousness, abdominal visceral lesions, habitual constipation
