Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 21-45 years old; 2. >32 weeks of gestation; 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status class I-II; 4. Scheduled to undergo cesarean section under neuraxial anesthesia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. A history of chronic pain; 2. Intake of pain medication; 3. Allergies against local anesthetics and opioids; 4. Additional surgical procedures; 5. Hemodynamic instability; 6. Contraindications for neuraxial anesthesia; 7. Anxiolytic medication; 8. Eclampsia; 9. HELLP syndrome; 10. Current participation in another clinical trial.
