Interventions

Group 1:Artificial liver therapy plus preventive oral promethazine 25 mg
Group 2:Artificial liver therapy plus preventive oral clarityne 10 mg
Control group:No anti-allergic drugs will be used before treatment, and only promethazine and other anti-allergic treatments were given when allergic reactions occurred.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-60 years male and female; 2. Very weak, with obvious digestive symptoms; 3. The jaundice rapidly deepens, serum bilirubin(TBiL) is 10 times greater than the upper limit of normal value or rises daily with 17.1 umol/L; 4. PTA 40 % (or INR 1.5); 5. Inactive hemorrhage; 6. Agree to participate in the study and sign a voluntary PIC

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Active bleeding; 2. Pregnancy test positive female patients; 3. There is a history of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC), or indications of hepatocellular carcinoma, such as: imaging suspicious nodules or alpha fetoprotein(AFP) & GT; Patients with 100 ng/ml; 4. Plan to receive organ transplants or have already done so; 5. Within six months had suffered cerebral vascular accident, acute myocardial infarction major trauma; 6. With liver encephalopathy; 7. artificial liver treatment contraindications and consent to artificial liver treatment; 8. With history of severe allergies; 9. With history of allergic reactions to Heparin and citric acid, promethazine, and calcium gluconate.
