POD group vs Non-POD group:neuraxial anesthesia

Age

65 Years to 120 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Preoperative diagnosis of hip fracture or hip/knee arthritis; 2. Hip internal fixation or hip/knee replacement under neuraxial anesthesia; 3. Aged over 65 years; 4. American Society of Anesthesiologists Classification I-III; 5. Return to general ward after operation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Preoperative delirium, schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, other types of dementia and stroke; 2. unable to read, write or suffer from severe audiovisual impairment; 3. MMSE score = 26; 4. Alcohol addicts and drug addicts; 5. Refuse to sign informed consent.
