Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elective surgery for sciatic nerve block, ASA I-IV level, age > 18

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy, ongoing dual antiplatelet therapy, allergy to local anesthetics, cerebrovascular sequelae, history of alcohol abuse, and patients who cannot be attributed to diabetic neuropathy (eg osteoarthritis, lumbar disc herniation, peripheral vascular disease).
