Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Invasive mechanical ventilation patients in ICU; 2. Aged at least 18 years; 3. Provide informed consent to express willingness to participate in research (only for prospective research).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who had undergone tracheotomy at the time of admission to ICU; 2. Patients discharged before the first SBT attempt; 3. Patients who live in ICU for less than 24 hours; 4. Patients with nasotracheal intubation.
