Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: T2DM: 1) Comply with (WHO) Diabetes Diagnostic and Classification criteria and the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD-24) score <8 points; 2) Right hand; 3) Aged 18 to 70 years, male or female; 4) Primary school or above (degree of education = 6 years); 5) Did not take any psychotropic medications 2 months before enrollment; 6) The patient or his legal guardian signs an informed consent form. T2DM comorbid depression: 1) Meet the (WHO) Diabetes Diagnostic and Classification criteria and the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD-24) score, = 8 points; 2) Right hand; 3) Aged 18 to 70 years, male or female; 4) Primary school or above (degree of education = 6 years); 5) Did not take any psychotropic medications 2 months before enrollment; 6) The patient or his legal guardian signs an informed consent form. Control group: 1) No diabetes and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD-24) score <8 points; 2) Right hand; 3) Aged 18 to 70 years, male or female; 4) Primary school or above (degree of education = 6 years); 5) Did not take any psychotropic medications 2 months before enrollment; 6) The patient or his legal guardian signs an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Severe T2DM complications (eye, kidney, foot); 2) Those who have suffered from mental illness, bipolar disorder and family history of obvious mental disorders; 3) History of head trauma; 4) Patients with acute cerebrovascular accidents and severe cardiopulmonary diseases within the past 3 months; 5) Obvious hearing or visual impairment, unable to complete the questionnaire survey and examination and evaluation; 6) Abuse or dependence on history of alcohol or psychoactive substances; 7) Women during pregnancy and lactation, women who currently take birth control pills; 8) There are organic diseases such as epilepsy or other diseases with random discharge of the brain; 9) Those who have undergone electrical convulsions and magnetic stimulation in the past 3 months; 10) MRI check for contraindications.
