Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. From February 2019 to March 2019, 120 middle-aged and elderly patients with essential hypertension in our hospital will be initially selected, and 120 patients were monitored by 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM). Finally, 100 eligible hypertensive patients were identified. 2. Diagnostic criteria: Hypertension can be diagnosed when systolic blood pressure =135mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure =85mm Hg is measured at home. 3. All subjects will sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hypertension crisis, secondary hypertension, malignant tumors, diabetes mellitus, liver and kidney diseases, severe heart disease and cerebrovascular accident, those who can not engage in daily activities, those who can not correctly use family self-blood pressure meter and those who can not provide informed consent.
