Age
18 Years to 55 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Women 18 years old or above; 2. Women with miscarriage or TOP who are suitable candidates for MVA; 3. first trimester miscarriage or TOP; 4. No fetal heart beat or TOP in those with CRL 25mm; 5. incomplete miscarriage or TOP with POG <5cm; 6. hemodynamically stable; 7. tolerates well with speculum examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Women who are not feasible for the MVA procedure; 2. cervical stenosis; 3. fibroid uterus >12 weeks in size; 4. known uterine malformation; 5. bleeding disorder; 6. clinically sepsis; 7. inability to tolerate pelvic examination; 8. History of psychological/ psychiatric problem; 9. Patient refusal.
