Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients were diagnosed with PCOS; 2. Patients were diagnosed with insulin resistance; 3. Women aged 18-35 years; 4. No fertility plan in the next three months; 5. Informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy or Suspicious Pregnancy; 2. Drugs used for regulating reproductive or metabolic were excluded, such as oral contraceptive, GnRH, antiandrogen drugs, Weight-loss drugs, lipid-lowering drugs and so on; 3. Patient with other endocrine diseases, such as diabetes, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, hyperprolactinemia, uncorrected thyroid disease, suspicious Cushing syndrome etc.; 4. Patient with serious internal disease, such as hepatorenal insufficiency, cardiac insufficiency, severe infection, trauma and hypertension; 5. Patient with history of major surgery; 6. Patient with hemolytic anemia and G6PD deficiency; 7. Patient with mental disease; 8. Allergic to the berberine or Metformin.
