Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The discharge time of the patient was between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2018; 2. Patient aged at least 18 years old; 3. The patient's admission diagnosis or discharge diagnosis includes one of the following: Pleural effusion; Bilateral pleural effusion; Malignant pleural effusion; Exudative pleural effusion; Transudatory pleural effusion; Tuberculous pleurisy; Tumor with pleural metastasis; Multiple serous cavity effusion. 4. If informed consent is required for the inclusion of the center, the patient should be able to provide written consent (signed by the patient himself or his legal guardian).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. No radiographically proven pleural effusion; 2. 24h patients admitted to hospital; 3. For patients repeatedly hospitalized for symptomatic pleural effusion, only the data of the first hospitalization in this year were collected; 4. If written informed consent is required, the patient refuses to collect his/her data in this investigation.
