Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who underwent surgery for thoracolumbar intraspinal tumors were enrolled in the study. Selection criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Grade I - I I, aged 18 - 65.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) history of drug abuse, psychiatric disorders and obesity (>130% of standard body weight); 2) cardiovascular diseases and unstable hypertension; 3) communication disorders; 4) contraindications of propofol, opioids and lidocaine (e.g. allergy, cardiac conduction block, porphyria); 5) inability to use patient-controlled analgesia device (PCA pump) [unable to understand the use of the device].
