Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Forty male patients aged 22-50 years were enrolled in this study. They were diagnosed with type II—VI AGA based on the pattern of hair loss according to the modified Norwood-Hamilton scale.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes mellitus, craniocerebral disease; previous systemic or topical treatment that could affect the hair cycle within the past 6 months, hair transplantation on the target areas, presence of hair disorders other than AGA and presence of any known systemic diseases.
