Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. patients with first onset of stroke; 2. aged 40-75 years; 3. course of disease of 1-5 months; 4. those who could independently transfer from one chair to another one or complete under the assistance of no more than 1 person; 5. those who could obey and carry out the evaluation and therapeutic scheme guidance; 6. those with stable vital signs and could tolerate the daily therapeutic dose; 7. those who could obey and carry out the evaluation and therapeutic scheme guidance; 8. those who could tolerate the specific therapeutic period; 9. their hemiplegic lower extremity iliopsoas muscle, quadriceps femoris muscle, triceps calf muscle strength grade 3 and above; 10. those had grade 2 standing equilibrium and above.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. those with related disease contradictory to aquatic exercise (such as heart failure, unstable angina, vital capacity of less than 1L, severe peripheral vascular disease, severe renal disease, gatism, various infectious diseases and uncontrollable epileptic seizure); 2. those with complications that might affect the equilibrium function, such as lower extremity fracture, unilateral neglect and visual field defect.
