Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with malignant tumor; 2) Patients with pleural metastasis is required if there is no diagnosis of malignancy; 3) Patients with malignant pleural effusion; 4) Aged between 18 and 70 year old male and female; 5) Physical condition Karnofsky score greater than 60; 6) Without severe complications; 7) Patients who are able to read Chinese and willingness to provide signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with extensive pleural adhesion; 2) Patients with severe cough or severe debilitation who are unable to undergo surgery; 3) Patients with severe heart disease, arrhythmia or cardiac insufficiency; 4) Patients with severe pulmonary accompanied by dyspnea and are unable to lie flat; 5) Patients with severe pulmonary hypertension(=4.67Kpa); 6) Patients with coagulation disorder or the count of blood platelet is less than 40×10^9/L or the prothrombin time below 40%; 7) Patients with cachexy who are unable to receive medical thoracoscopic treatment; 8) Pregnant women; 9) Patients get involved in other clinical trials.
