Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Postoperative patients with orthopedics older than 60 years old and non-mechanical ventilation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. With delirium when admisson to ICU; 2. With serious central nervous system diseases (such as stroke, Parkinson's, dementia, etc.) or severe impairment of cognitive function can not complete the assessment; 3. severe sinus bradycardia (< 50 beats per minute), or second-degree or above atrioventricular block without pacemaker; 4. Alcohol or benzodiazepine withdrawal; 5. Severe hepatic dysfunction (Child-Pugh class C); 6. Severe renal dysfunction (requirement of renal replacement therapy); 7. Hemodynamic instability or need to use vasopressors when entering the ICU; 8. Low likelihood of survival for more than 24 h; 9. Refused to participate the study.
