Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All of the subjects in this study were good nutrition, had pathologically proven esophageal cancer, and underwent selective surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) patients who received a non-specified nutrient solution or nutritional support during the perioperative period; (2) patients complicated by metabolic disease or immune deficiency (white blood cell count was B, serum creatinine levels >265.2 mol/L, or requiring hemodialysis); (4) patients who received neoadjuvant therapy before the operation; (5) patients with distant metastasis of a tumor during the operation who were unable to undergo a radical operation or combined organ resection; (5) patients with postoperative gastrointestinal active bleeding or intestinal obstruction who were unable to receive enteral nutrition; (6) patients who were allergic to the formulation of nutrient composition or they had serious absorption problems.
