18 Years to 45 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-45 years old; 2. Diagnosed as unifocal intracapsular thyroid microcarcinoma by preoperative ultrasound; 3. No evidence of lymph node metastasis by preoperative ultrasound; 4. Intraoperative findings are consistent with preoperative ultrasound results; 5. Diagnosed as papillary thyroid carcinoma by preoperative fine-needle aspiration cytology or frozen pathology; 6. Voluntarily participate in this clinical trial and sign a written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. multifocal, diammter > 10mm, capsular invasion, or clinical lymph node metastasis (+); 2. Diagnosed as other subtypes of thyroid cancer (follicular, medullary, or undifferentiated carcinoma); 3. Suffering from severe underlying diseases or other malignant tumors; 4. Previous history of thyroid surgery; 5. Previous history of head and neck radiation; 6. Family history of thyroid cancer; 7. Cannot understand the conditions and objectives of this study.
