Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria of healthy control group: healthy adults aged 20-65 without any disease or clinical symptoms were selected as control group from August 2018 to August 2020 to the physical examination center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University; 2. Inclusion criteria of metabolic surgery group: (1) Aged 20-65 years old; (2) BMI (> 28kg/m2) with T2DM; (3) Diagnosis of diabetes mellitus: Refer to the Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes in 2017, typical diabetes symptoms (such as polyuria, polydipsia, polyphagia, weight loss, etc.) plus FPG (> 7.0 mmol/L), or random blood sugar (> 11.0 mmol/L), or OGTT (> 11.1 mmol/L, PG (> 2 hours), etc. Asymptomatic patients need to be re-examined for another day; (4) to conform to the type of T2DM: referring to the "Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes in China 2017", combined with diabetic autoantibodies and islet function, the diagnosis of T2DM; (5) is confirmed as voluntary sleeve gastrectomy or gastric bypass.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Common exclusion criteria: (1) past gastrointestinal surgery history, recent gastrointestinal inflammation, ulcer, gastrointestinal malignancies, intestinal obstruction, etc., the first two weeks before the experiment had taken drugs affecting gastrointestinal motility; (2) Cardiocerebrovascular disease: Acute myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, malignant arrhythmia within a year, etc.; (3) Respiratory system diseases: Respiratory failure; (4) Renal diseases: chronic kidney disease CKD4-5, glomerulonephritis, urinary tract infection, nephrotic syndrome, bladder cancer, etc.; (5) Liver diseases: transaminase increased more than three times, liver cancer, acute hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver abscess, liver parasites, fulminant liver failure, etc.; (6) Psychiatric diseases: schizophrenia, inhibition Depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, hysteria, etc.; (7) Others electrolyte disturbance, drug abuse, trauma, menstruation or pregnancy, lactation women, severe autoimmune diseases, etc.; 2. Exclusion criteria of sleeve gastrectomy group and gastric bypass group: (1) other types of diabetes mellitus, serious disturbance of glycometabolism, diabetic peripheral neuropathy; (2) diabetic patients with diabetes mellitus course more than 15 years, islet function was significantly exhausted; BMI was less than 28kg/m2.
