18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Between 18 and 80 years of age at the time of surgery; 2. Essential tremor patients with severe kinetic tremor and postural tremor, drug refractory, disable on daily life, meets the surgical indication for Vim-DBS or thalamotomy; 3. Patients tremor relapse after Vim thalamotomy; 4. Patient or legal guardian understands study procedures and has voluntarily signed an informed consent; 5. Patient who is willing to abide by relevant regulations and complete study evaluations before the deadline.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with metal implantation or mental situation could not finish long term magnetic resonance imaging; 2. Patients with surgical contraindications; 3. There are objective factors that cannot complete the follow-up (economic factors, traffic factors, etc.).
